C & D’s Engagement Photos in Cayucos, California | Central Coast Engagement Photographer


C & D’s Cayucos engagement session was the kind of evening every photographer hopes for. With glowing sunlight, soft ocean air, and two people completely in love, it felt like pure magic from start to finish. Cayucos, California is one of my favorite spots for engagement photos on the Central Coast, and this session was a beautiful reminder of why it’s such a special place.


We started the evening in a quiet field just outside of Cayucos. The golden hills were bathed in warm light, and everything felt peaceful and calm. C & D were so natural together; laughing, holding hands, and totally in the moment. The combination of open space and soft light made for a timeless and romantic setting for their photos.


As the sun began to set, we headed down to the beach for the second half of their session. Cayucos Beach was calm and glowing, with waves rolling gently onto the sand. The soft breeze and the warm colors of the sky created the perfect backdrop as C & D walked barefoot along the shoreline. They wrapped up in each other’s arms, danced in the sand, and shared quiet little moments that made this session feel so real and genuine.


We ended the night with a champagne toast right on the beach as the last bit of sun dipped below the horizon. It was the perfect way to wrap up an evening full of joy, love, and that special Central Coast glow.


What made this session even more meaningful was knowing I’d get to photograph their wedding, too. C & D were married at Bella Terra Vineyard Estate in Paso Robles, and it was such an honor to be there for both chapters of their story. From their dreamy Cayucos engagement session to their romantic Paso Robles wedding, I loved capturing every part of their journey.
